Much to do on Travaglia's schedule
|
The San Marino Rally, another in Turkey, and the 1000 Miglia: Renato Travaglia's programme for the next few weeks will be busy indeed.
The Abarth driver was at the San Marino start this Friday, second round of the Italian Rally Championship; once that race is completed, he will fly to Turkey for the Intercontinental Rally Challenge's first meet of the season. Following that, back to Italy for a Mille Miglia reconnaissance run.
"It will probably be a very tiring month, but we are prepared and in very great shape," declared Travaglia.
"I am happy since Abarth confirmed the Scuderia Grifone Grande Punto's participation in the IRC," he continued.
"This championship is fascinating, in constant progression with the involvement of many constructors, and we will do all we can to make the Scorpion marque shine."
As for the current event, Travaglia knows that the competition is fierce with over a dozen participants capable of taking the win.
"We have never won at the San Marino," he recognised.
"But we took a splendid second place last year. Now we hope to end Subaru's domination."
