Tirabassi and his "Lioness"
|
The Junior World Rally Champion of the 2003 season, Brice Tirabassi, will be taking on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge this year at the wheel of a Peugeot 207 Super 2000 prepared by the BSA team.
Tirabassi was in southern France recently engaged in a four-day test programme, getting acquainted with his "Lioness" and trying out different setups. As the working environment included different types of gravel trails, the tests also served as preparation for the Turkish and Portuguese rallies.
"We tested many things that will be very useful to us this year," Tirabassi reported.
The Frenchman previously tasted the ambiance of an IRC event through his participation in the Sanremo Rally and now confirms that he is looking forward to another serving.
"I have to say that I am very happy: the car is perfect and the team is working very well," Tirabassi said.
"I can't wait to start the season and I hope that we will be able to fight for good results," he added.
