A chance for an IRC seat in Belgium
BFGoodrich and Kronos Racing, sponsored by the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium, will offer a place in the driver's seat to a national driver for the Intercontinental Rally Challenge event which will take place in Ypres from 26 to 28 June 2008.

From 21 March to 30 April 2008, the applications of interested teams must be submitted to the RACB. The list of these teams will then be suggested by the sports federation to the people in charge at BFGoodrich and Kronos. One month before the event, the people in charge will preselect three teams.

On 28 May, BFGoodrich and the Kronos team will bring together a jury of national journalists to pick the team who will have the opportunity to participate in the Belgium Ypres Westhoek Rally at the wheel of the Peugeot 207 Super 2000. The vote will be done by secret ballot.

The team chosen will therefore participate in the Belgian IRC event representing BFGoodrich/Kronos as well as the two other team drivers, Freddy Loix and Nicolas Vouilloz, also in a Peugeot 207 Super 2000.

On 18 June a tryout session will be organised in the area of the rally in order for the selected team to get acquainted with the Peugeot 207, BFGoodrich tyres and the Kronos Team. The journalists who will have chosen the national team will be invited to this session.

"The BFGoodrich Drivers Team is an innovative project that is representative of Belgian rally," says Michel Jodogne, head of the RACB: "We are delighted at the opportunity that BFGoodrich and Kronos Racing offer Belgian rally drivers and amateurs of the discipline."

For the BFGoodrich brand, it is the opportunity to show its commitment to road events.

"The BFGoodrich Drivers Team shows the strong commitment of BFGoodrich and illustrates the performances of its products and dynamism," explains Frédéric Henry-Biabaud, Director of Michelin Group Competition.

"We are loyal to BFGoodrich tyres since their rally debut and are especially proud of being able to collaborate with the people in charge of the French brand within the scope of such a project," says Marc Van Dalen, Director of Kronos Racing.

"The BFGoodrich Drivers Team is a unique and exceptional promotion within an ideal context for its drivers. We are convinced that this concept will attract many candidate drivers," Van Dalen adds.
